Roque & Mark's Annual Toy Drive for Spark of Love
Spark of Love is on its 30th annual toy drive, hoping to provide toys to underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura, and Riverside counties.
Roque & Mark helps their collection by hosting an annual effort in our office to collect toys for Spark of Love and give back to those in need. Throughout December toys were donated by tenants, property owners, handymen, contractors, Roque & Mark staff, and other friends. Spark of Love is particularly interested in toys for infants and teens, as they often receive more toys for young children. So far, Roque & Mark has accepted a variety of books, dolls, stuffed animals, action figures, puzzles, and more, but there’s still time if you would like to contribute!
Roque & Mark collected donations until December 21st in our office, at which point we delivered the collections to the Santa Monica Fire Department on 19th street. Vice President Zina Markevicius and Property Management Associate Jemma Clarke dropped off the collected toys, where they were met by the Battalion Chief. After a “busy morning in Santa Monica,” he was pleased to accept the donations.
